A place to be heard.
There is something transformative about saying things aloud and having someone see and hear you. Sharing your story unburdens you. Therapy is a space where you get to experience that. A place where you can be yourself, unpack your baggage, and experience meaningful life changes.
There is no "one-size fits all" approach to therapy, so the care you receive should meet your specific needs. I spend time getting to know your experiences so that the progress you make is truly unique to you. I have an eclectic approach that has developed from a variety of experiences working with diverse populations. I enjoy providing a safe space for individuals and couples to explore their struggles and improve their well-being.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have over 12 years of experience working with adolescents (15+), adults, and couples who are experiencing a range of life challenges and relationship difficulties. My areas of expertise include anxiety & panic, trauma, grief, relationship conflict, addiction, and women's issues such as infertility, loss, and postpartum adjustment. I earned my MA in Counseling from Lincoln Christian University and I have advanced training in EMDR.
On a personal note, I've been married to my husband for 15 years and we have 2 children together. In my "free time" I enjoy coffee, time with family & friends, and trips alone to the grocery store.
